Terms of Use

These terms set out how ShuttleDay (the "Service") may be used. By using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

ShuttleDay is a place to post, find and join badminton practices and games, talk with other players and keep score. The operator does not host events and is not responsible for their content, how they are run, or dealings between users.

2. Accounts

• Register accurate information and keep your account secure. What you register is self-declared; we do not verify identity.
• One account per person.
• You must be 13 or older.

3. Hosts

• Hosts check and follow the venue's rules (booking, fees, permitted use, etc.).
• Hosts describe events accurately, including any conditions for joining.
• Hosts look after participants' safety and should consider sports insurance where appropriate.

4. Fees and cancellations

• The host sets the fee, how it is paid, and how cancellations are handled, for each event.
• If you pay through the service, the terms shown in the service for that feature apply.
• Disputes about fees or cancellations are between the host and the participant.

5. Posts and conversations

• You are responsible for what you post (events, chats, messages, profile, court notes).
• Court notes are for facts about the court only. Posts about particular people (names, looks, when they come) are not allowed.
• You can report or block users and content from the app. The operator reviews reports and removes content or suspends users that break these terms.
• There is no tolerance for harassment, discrimination, violence, sexual content or other objectionable content.

6. Prohibited

• Illegal acts, harassment, discrimination, abuse, impersonation
• Using the Service for dating, solicitation, sales or religious activities
• Fake events or unfair demands for money
• Interfering with the Service or unauthorized access

7. Injuries and accidents

You take part at your own risk. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the operator is not liable for injuries, accidents or disputes at venues or during activities.

8. Suspension, leaving and changes

• The operator may suspend users who break these terms.
• You can delete your account at any time from You → Settings → Delete account.
• The operator may change these terms when needed. Before a change applies, the new terms and the date they take effect are announced in the app or on the website.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
